Chess lessons at schools for beginners and advanced players
& Private home and online lessons
My name is Steve, I come from France.
I am a graduated youth chess trainer. I have been teaching chess at schools for more than 15 years. I have more than 30 years of experience with competitive chess
A course includes a lesson on a specific theme, exercises, mini-games, and practice games.
Students solve exercises in their individual workbooks. I use, among others, the Brunia and Van Wijgerden step method, the official method of the KNSB (Dutch Chess Federation).
Mini-games are games with reduced materials. They allow students to focus on a particular aspect of the game. Examples: pawn battle (8 pawns against 8 pawns), knight chase (queen against knight), the hungry knight (which knight will eat the most pawns?)
